Lucky Duck is a personal take on Asian cuisine, shaped by years of travel across Thailand, China and Japan. The menu reflects what we found on those trips: from market stalls to back-kitchen tables.
Inside, an open kitchen sits at the heart of the room. Two floors, softly lit, with an interior built in collaboration with friends, family and craftsmen. The kind of place that is easy to step into, and easy to stay at.
On the menu: sushi, robata grill, curries and crafted cocktails. Street-food classics next to more refined plates. All made to be shared, always grounded, never precious.

Heerlijk gegeten. Echt een topzaak. Waanzinnig eten/cocktails. En super vriendelijke service. Echt een aanrader als je iets zoekt in het centrum van Amsterdam!
I went alone. I had an amazing evening. I was served by Samuel who took care of all my wants. I had a seat next to the kitchen. They do a very nice job and seem to have a good time at work together. I sampled a bit of everything, and I'm impressed by all of it. Though if you think of ordering a bit of sushi, oyster, half a duck and a dessert with something to drink with all of it have a taxi waiting for you. I was so full I could barely walk home to my hotell! Next time I'm in Amsterdam I'm coming back
Amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere! We really enjoyed our dinner at Lucky Duck. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Wagyu nigiri and gyoza were definitely the highlights of the evening — both were absolutely outstanding and easily our favorite dishes! The restaurant has a beautiful, unique interior and a great atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the service, which was unfortunately very slow and could definitely be improved. Overall, a fantastic Asian restaurant in Amsterdam. Despite the slow service, the quality of the food makes it absolutely worth visiting. Would definitely come back!
Wow ...the best dishes I've ate ever!!!! The sushi was magnificent. The seabass fish was divine. Everything was so good . Well done. Ill surly return
We are back after a year, and it is just as amazing as when it opened: chop chop, all the courses, the drinks, all very good. The service is even better; they are very careful with any allergies. We were a bit annoying with the number of allergies for one person, but they were very careful and quiet about it. But the mochi cocktail Still amazing; steak still good; all the starters amazing, like we had dumplings, gyoza, duck rolls- amazing, so good in flavor. The desserts are nice too: the mochi and sticky rice. But overall, an amazing experience. I will recommend this over any other fancy restaurant, as I went to almost all of them, and this is the one that really stayed with me, and it still delivered in the same way it did back in those first months. But yeah, overall amazing. Like, the service is 10/10
Eşim ve bir arkadaşımızla gittik, internette iyi sushi araştırması yaparken gözüme takıldı. Gerçekten son derece iyi dekorlu, çalışanların en üst düzeyde olduğu, sushi ve ördeğin aşırı lezzetli olduğu harika kırmızılar içinde lüks ve romantik bir mekan Lucky Duck. Girişinden itibaren büyüleniyorsunuz. Masraftan kaçılmamış, malzemeler en üst düzeyde. Biz aşırı keyif aldık, iyi sushi ve ördek sevenler için kaçırılmayacak bir mekan. Cumartesi akşam 20:00 de dj başlıyor. Deneyin çok beğeneceğinize eminim. Öneriyorum. Teşekkürler…
What an amazing establishment to come for dinner. We went on Thursday night and loved it so much we went back again Sunday. Staff is incredible and friendly, food is astonishingly delicious, and the ambience is beautifully curated! Like what more can you want? Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an experience!
