Lucky Duck is a personal take on Asian cuisine, shaped by years of travel across Thailand, Vietnam, China, India and Japan. The menu reflects what we found on those trips: from market stalls to back-kitchen tables.
Inside, an open kitchen sits at the heart of the room. Two floors, softly lit, with an interior built in collaboration with friends, family and craftsmen. The kind of place that is easy to step into, and easy to stay at.
On the menu: sushi, robata grill, curries and crafted cocktails. Street-food classics next to more refined plates. All made to be shared, always grounded, never precious.

Highly recommend, the food was incredible and the staff were so friendly. I hope to make it back again.
Took my friends here for a very belated birthday party. The great service started already before the dinner, with Mara doublechecking if everything discussed/arranged is still as I wished. The interior / decor is quite chique; details such as using traditional Maneki-neko (static arm, white porcelain really elevated the place. Then of course the many courses, I had one mission and it was to ensure no one leaves hungry. Mission completed :) The bartender also had some great "fortune cookies" (i.e. bartender's recommendation) - we ended up ordering the same drink for three people. All in all, great experience

Amazing place - Highly recommend!! The service was excellent from start to finish, the presentation was absolutely beautiful, and the food & cocktails - delicious!!. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Wonderful atmosphere, incredible attention to detail, and truly outstanding service.

Very nice place, the sushi was excellent.
This was a great meal! We ordered the crunchy duck rolls, chicken skewers, toro nigiri, fried rice wagyu, miso eggplant, and peking duck. Surprisingly the fried wagyu was the least impressive. The toro nigiri was so good that we immediately ordered more. This was the best meal we had in Amsterdam and the service ane vibes of the space were both exceptional. Highly recommend.

I am visiting Amsterdam for a week and came upon this restaurant when putting together my itinerary. Asian fusion, not an original concept, but the cocktail menu is what drew me in. From our arrival until our departure, the service was immaculate; truly the finest service I’ve experienced from a restaurant in a very long time. Stefan (Stephen?) was an attentive server and made excellent recommendations. We ordered the Hong Kong Sour, Mochi, and Singapore Sling cocktails, and each was a delightful and favorable experience. The Wagyu Gyoza was an excellent start to our meal, and the Spicy Tuna and Shrimp rolls were the best sushi I’ve had in 30 years; comparable or beyond an expensive omakase experience. The Matcha Cheesecake might not look like a cheesecake, but it was delicious. I will return to this restaurant whenever I return to Amsterdam. If it closes, my heart will break.
